Our Academic Options

STATEMENT OF DEDICATION

This institute is an evangelical, international, multi-ethnical institution. The faculty of  Religious education prepares students spiritually, academically, physically, and in social development, for doctrine unification, and preparation of leaders, missionaries, ministers, evangelists, teachers, counselors, canvassers, etc.

Based on biblical education, the science, character, and attributes of God. God's laws, government, the doctrines we are to believe, the duties we are to practice, research, and practical skills. To accomplish the commission of our Lord Jesus Christ by proclaiming the final warning- three angel’s messages (Rev 14:6-13) empowered by the other Angel of (Rev 18) to the world.

 

GOAL

To prepare evangelists, leaders, mission workers, and church members in general, effectively in teaching, preaching, leadership, and professionalism, in line with our faith as reformers and God’s will.

 

OBJECTIVES

To train students for the service of saving souls and enlightening the world with the present truth. Equip students with the skills for gospel ministry within the context of the IMS-Seventh-day Adventist Church Reform Movement.

The world is in great need of well-trained and instructed persons who are well-acquainted with the gospel of the present truth. People who under the power of the Holy Ghost can open the eyes of people and give to the world a pure truth according to the Holy Scriptures. Therefore, this Institute is determined to address this need in a simple and digested approach. As manifested in our curriculum. 

Online Education

Online learning is education that takes place over the Internet. It is often referred to as “elearning” among other terms. However, online learning is just one type of “distance learning” - the umbrella term for any learning that takes place across distance and not in a traditional classroom.

Online Learning: Internet-based courses offered synchronously and/or asynchronously.

Face to face

Face-to-face learning is an instructional method where the course content and learning material are taught in person to a group of students. This allows for live interaction between a learner and an instructor. It is the most traditional type of learning instruction. Learners benefit from a greater level of interaction with their fellow students as well. 

Certificates

This program of study will equip the student with a piece of general knowledge of Biblical Studies. It is designed to provide a foundation for personal spiritual development, as well as the pursuit of local ministry. Upon completion of the program, the student should possess a strong foundation in the Word of God, and a balanced comprehension of the principle teachings of the Bible. Intended as a one-year program, it can serve as a point of entry into other undergraduate programs of study.

Transfer Opportunity

The satisfactory completion of the study program carried out will provide the basic credentials to develop missionary activities at the international level in the institution of IMS, SDA, RM

Career Training

The training section corresponding to the Internship provides the option of developing the practice of formal education received at an academic level.

Community Opportunities

Human contact across different cultures and geographic areas is of great value in the proclamation of the gospel and this option is offered locally and intercontinental during and upon successful completion of comprehensive training in theory and practice.
